Rio World is a small contact zoo and bird park among date palms near Al Hijrah Road. Children enjoy touching birds and farm animals. Entry is about 35 SAR per person and adults pay the same as children (one family of seven paid 185 SAR). The area is small, a visit takes about 30 minutes, and many guests found it expensive for what it is. Open evenings and early mornings.
