Who publishes ZiyaraGo

ZiyaraGo is an independent information service for travellers to Makkah and Madinah. We publish guides, place and hotel pages and news in 16 languages.

We are not a tour operator, we do not sell Hajj or Umrah packages, and we do not give religious rulings. Rules are set by the authorities of Saudi Arabia and of your own country, so always confirm important steps with the official sources.

How we prepare materials

Guides and place pages are written from official sources (ministries, operators, official tourism portals), public data and our own catalogue, and are checked against those sources before and after publication.

News items are short summaries with context for travellers. We write them in our own words rather than copying the original text.

Sources

A news item names its source and links to it where one exists. When sources disagree, we say so. Figures that change, such as prices, opening hours and deadlines, are given with a note to check the current information.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help prepare and translate materials into 16 languages. Our team checks the materials against sources and for errors before and after publication, and we correct mistakes when we find them.

Corrections and updates

If you find an error, write to us with the address of the page. We correct confirmed errors. The date of a change on a page changes only when the content really changes.
