The Medina Province Administration has announced the launch of the tourist season 'Winter Medina 2026–2027'. The season's program includes 109 events and experiences of a cultural, entertainment and educational nature.
The season is timed for the winter months (December–March), when Medina traditionally attracts a large number of pilgrims performing Umrah and tourists from different countries. Organizers expect that the packed program of events will make visitors' stay in the city more diverse and attractive.
Official sources have not yet disclosed a detailed list of venues and exact dates for individual events. As the season approaches, more detailed programming is expected to be published.
For travelers planning a trip to Medina during the winter period, the launch of the season may mean additional cultural and tourist activity in the city — it is recommended to check the event schedule in advance and plan accommodation taking into account possible increased demand for hotels during these months.
