Don’t litter

Keep a small bag for your trash.

Why it matters

Cleanliness is half of faith. Thousands of cleaners work around the clock, but litter in a crowd becomes a slip and trip hazard.

Do

  • Carry a small bag for wrappers
  • Use the bins at the gates
  • Pick up one piece of litter you see

Avoid

  • Leaving bottles on the floor
  • Dropping tissues in the Mataf

What to do

  1. Collect your trash after prayer
  2. Return Zamzam cups to the cup bins
  3. Thank the cleaners — they serve the guests of Allah too
