Etiquette and entering
Enter with the right foot and read the dua of entering the mosque. Pray two rak’ahs of greeting. A prayer here is worth a thousand elsewhere except Masjid al-Haram.
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allāhumma-ftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
Rawdah
Book a slot in Nusuk
The Rawdah — between the Prophet’s ﷺ house and minbar — is a garden of Paradise. Entry requires a time slot booked in the Nusuk app; women and men have separate times.
Greeting the Prophet ﷺ
At the noble grave
Walk calmly to the grave, face it and greet the Prophet ﷺ, then Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). Do not raise your voice or crowd.
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
As-salāmu ‘alayka yā Rasūlallāh
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.
Quba, Uhud & Baqi
Reward of an Umrah
Pray two rak’ahs in Quba Mosque — the reward of an Umrah. Visit the martyrs of Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi in the morning.
