If someone dies

Stay calm, inform staff and the agency — the janazah is arranged.

Many see dying in the Haram as a blessing, and there is a set procedure. Families are often far away, so the group and the agency take the first steps.

Qilish kerak

  • Call 997 and stay with the person
  • Inform the group leader and agency
  • Contact the consulate for documents

Qochish kerak

  • Moving the body yourself
  • Posting photos on social media

Nima qilish kerak

  1. Call 997 — the medical team confirms the death
  2. The agency obtains the death certificate
  3. The janazah prayer is held after a fard prayer in the Haram
  4. Burial in Makkah or Madinah, or repatriation via the consulate
