Patience with others

No arguments, no raised voices — give way to the elderly.

Me ya sa yake da muhimmanci

Allah says about Hajj: “no obscenity, no wickedness, no quarrelling” (al-Baqarah 2:197). Millions from different cultures share one space — patience is part of the worship itself.

Ka yi

  • Give your place to the elderly and disabled
  • Smile, say “sorry” and move on
  • Help someone who is lost or confused

Ka guji

  • Shouting or quarrelling over a place
  • Reserving rows with prayer mats
  • Comments about other nationalities

Abin da za a yi

  1. If someone pushes you — let it go and step aside
  2. Ask staff to resolve a dispute
  3. Keep your group close so others can pass
