Filming stops the flow behind you, distracts your own worship and shows other pilgrims without their consent. Photography rules inside the Two Holy Mosques are enforced by staff.

- Make dua instead of recording it
- Take a photo outside the courtyards if you must
- Respect “no photography” signs

- Selfies at the Kaaba or in the Rawdah
- Live streams during prayer
- Filming women or people in ihram up close

- Switch the phone to silent before entering
- Keep it in a closed pocket or bag
- If staff ask you to delete a photo — do it calmly
