đš The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended the requirement for meningitis vaccination for Umrah pilgrims.
đš According to the official document, the implementation of Circular No. (2/15597) issued on 07.01.2025 has been suspended. This means that individuals holding an Umrah visa or those planning to perform Umrah will no longer be required to provide a meningitis vaccination certificate.
đš All airlines operating in Saudi Arabian airports, including private aviation services, must comply with the new directives issued by GACA.
đ What does this mean for you?
Pilgrims can now enter Saudi Arabia without a mandatory meningitis vaccination certificate. However, regulations may change, so we strongly recommend keeping up with official updates.
